I had this same issue and it was driving me nuts. It also turned out to be a Qik update that broke it for me... don't think I would have figured it out without this thread. Thanks :)

Update: After 4 days drying in a sealed bag of silica gel, it looks like all the water is gone and the phone functions fine. The only remaining problem is that it looks like it left behind some residue behind near the corner. It's hard to notice unless the screen is showing all white at least.

I second this. I bought this and was very disappointed. They obviously just added "EVO" to the description without actually testing it. It doesn't fit the Evo with the cutout... so I thought I could just use scissors to increase the slit length, but then I got that sticky stuff all over the...

What about the kickstand? The other guy @ AndroidForums said it was really hard to take the kickstand out with this case on.

Nice. Can you confirm whether or not the screen sits above the surface when you lay it face-down on the screen? From the photos it looks like there's no lip and it would just be resting on the screen itself..

That one looks pretty nice... I just wish it had the same design for the rear camera portion that Barely There has (smaller cutout, raised ring around camera).

The only one I can think of that *might* fit those requirements is this: HTC Evo 4G Rubberized Shield Snap On Hard Case Black It's hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like it might have a small lip. It's only $7 so it might be worth a try :)
