I'm in the same boat... except I cant send or receive MMS... same settings as you - Unlocked Moto X

I bought a unlocked verizon moto x and it is currently working Straight Talk's BYOP AT&T program... I do get the sim card error but I press OK and it works just fine... I agree with the above posters, it is not the phone, it is your APN. However, I still can't get MMS working...
