Well, after messing with it for 2 days I finally got it. Seems I need release volume and the power about half a second later. My other N7 wants them released at the same time. Wiping the cache has also fixed my buggy audio and display!! Yay! Thanks for the input folks.

I can get to the "no command" screen but when I push power/volume up and release nothing happens. I've tried several times and tried different sequences but no luck. I have no problem getting in on my old N7 with a broken screen. Any ideas? I'm trying to wipe the cache to resolve an audio...
