I am having the same problem on my Note 3. It has been a week now and the red LED light flashes at a steady pace for no reason. If I wake my phone it will go off for about 10 minutes. It then comes on again. All notifications, missed calls, etc. cleared. Rebooted, took SIM and battery out...
