I just did the unlock/root on my phone this morning. After the root the phone stayed on the Google logo for 20 minutes until I read in a thread somewhere that disconnecting the USB cable could help the situation. I did that and waited another 15 minutes (I really had nothing better to do :p )...

I broke down and bought the coins to remove the ads last week. Yes, all ads are gone. No, still says Words Free. I would have rather them just put a paid version in the Android Market.
