You put it well that Android wants RAM to be used (not wasted). These devices do what they say but that doesn't mean that's they're good for your device.

Amen! I'm not even a developer and even I noticed that these "cleaner/booster" apps would do something, but you could tell android wasn't agreeing with its methods. Cheetah sucks. These apps do absolutely nothing good for Android devices.

I agree. I think it's more well-placed than iPhone jack on the bottom...some people have the strangest concerns. To each his own I guess.

Care to tell us what the culprit was for those of us who are having this issue and may have installed the same culprit? :P

I wish. I have a similiar annoying popup coming from the bottom of my screen and it comes backwhen you hit "Cancel". It's saying "Recommended Apps for You:" and lists two Boom Beach-type games, so I deleted all games, but it's still there...and Lookout did nothing to fix it.

I use the same exact case. It provides perfect weight, adds some grip, looks great. I've actually had 3 people request the link for this case and they bought it. It has 4.5 out of 5 stars on Amazon It believe. I love it. It would be 100% perfect if it had a detachable belt clip/kick stand...
