Uncheck the box in Google Now for OK Google "From Any Screen." This setting breaks the camera. I don't know if it's a Google problem, or a Sony problem, but somebody needs to fix it.

I found a good holster at REI. Can't post links yet but do a search on REI for Timbuk2 3Way Accessory Case. Fits like a glove on a naked Z3v. Lined with fur so no scratches either.

Download Textra from the playstore. It's a great replacement for the stock messaging app. You can go into Settings and disable the stock message app after you instal Textra.

Move the shake reduction slider all the way to the left.

You need to turn it over and lay the phone on a flat surface. I think it uses the front sensors to see when it gets "dark" when you lay it down.
