I don't like the fact that the international sim card is locked so you can not put another sim card in from the country you are visiting. I hope there will be a way to unlock it on the photon Q or it won't be worth it for me to upgrade.

Lets not forget that Google now owns Motorola mobil it will be interesting to see what they do with updates for their own phones.

there is an app called apn global. I used it in thailand and it knew what country i was in and put the apn codes in my phone for me. Nice app to have if you are traveling

They need to fix the wifi issue when you go out of the country.

The app is used to set up the apn (access point names) so you can use the data parts on the phone like email, internet, facebook. It sets up the protocals for you. Without it i could only make calls on the gsm network.

I am in Thailand now and just bought a sim card here and put it in. I downloaded the app called apn global and it knew I was in Thailand and set up the info for the AIS sim card (the app has most of the international networks) on the gsm network. Works great.

I am here visiting in Thailand and my phone did the update on the gsm network. Now my wifi will not work at all. When I push to turn it on it just says error. (so much for improving my wifi) I am hoping when I get home and back on the sprint network it will work again. It was working fine here...
