35 years old here - just got the Nexus 7 this weekend. :D

I flashed to the Eclipse ROM and ended up getting the "software update" nags.... went back to Gummy Charged - it runs okay, but I do see some occasional flakey-ness.

This maybe a very dumb question - but is there any way to rearrange the order of the applications on the menu screens?

I have been consistently tweeting Samsung and Verizon about the lack of Froyo for the Continuum...basically, every time I get told - "we're working on it" blah blah.. but this last time - this is what I got from Verizon: VZWSupport Jul 29, 7:34am via Radian6 @nicki2377 Lamentably not all phones...

I had a similar experience with GO SMS as well - I really liked the app - but ended up uninstalling it because it didn't play well with the Ticker.

If you are having trouble, there are some lighter weight distros available. I use Asturix myself-because it has a smaller footprint. You probably already have checked but distrowatch has info on just about every flavor imaginable- including some made for older hardware. Sent from my Samsung...

Okay - so I completely showed my Newb-itude on this one...didn't know that task killers weren't needed anymore...or were frowned upon. Hmmm.... I will say so far - I really like this phone. I am trying hard to get used to the touchscreen keyboard and the way the OS handles things. I must say...

I was sad to leave WebOS - I really did love it, but it was so limited. Without apps and innovative content it is going to go the way of the dinosaurs. Can't say I won't sneak a peak at the Tablets when they come out. :) I've got a lot to learn - but I'm sure I'll be an Android evangelist...
