re: Win 1 of 50 $10 Google Play gift cards from Poweramp & AC!
There are times in our lives that are defined by music, there are others where the background track constantly running - but music is always there for us and that's why I love it (and why I hate autotune). I had tried poweramp when...
+1 for Aldiko, I tried to Moon+ but I didn't like scrolling down vs. page flipping type action and couldn't figure out how to change it (if you even can). If you have them in your computer, really like Calibre for management/conversion.

I use Tweetcaster Pro on my phone - but have been looking for a good option for my Nexus 7, will definitely check out Tweet Lanes and I've read about Slices, might have to try that too LOL
I flashed to the Eclipse ROM and ended up getting the "software update" nags.... went back to Gummy Charged - it runs okay, but I do see some occasional flakey-ness.
WOOT!! Thank you Thank you Thank you! Maybe now I can survive until my upgrade date! :)
Edited to Add: Only thing that would make this any better would be if it were deBinged and debloated. I am having no problems with the ROM at all! Thanks so much for making this possible! :)
I have been consistently tweeting Samsung and Verizon about the lack of Froyo for the Continuum...basically, every time I get told - "we're working on it" blah blah.. but this last time - this is what I got from Verizon:

@nicki2377 Lamentably not all phones...
If you are having trouble, there are some lighter weight distros available. I use Asturix myself-because it has a smaller footprint. You probably already have checked but distrowatch has info on just about every flavor imaginable- including some made for older hardware.

Okay - so I completely showed my Newb-itude on this one...didn't know that task killers weren't needed anymore...or were frowned upon. Hmmm....
I will say so far - I really like this phone. I am trying hard to get used to the touchscreen keyboard and the way the OS handles things. I must say...
This is a complete newbie question, but when I open the task killer so app, there is always a bunch of junk listed - it's not anything that I have opened. Is this normal? Thanks for taking pity on a newbie!

I was sad to leave WebOS - I really did love it, but it was so limited. Without apps and innovative content it is going to go the way of the dinosaurs. Can't say I won't sneak a peak at the Tablets when they come out. :)
I've got a lot to learn - but I'm sure I'll be an Android evangelist...
