Nexus 7 2013 LTE, forget OTA, not even Factory Images on the Google's Nexus Image site! Ridiculous!

I found out why I was getting weird orange color on the wifi signal, I turned off the mobile data and then turned it to airplane mode, that solved the issue of bad wifi network, but still the battery is bad.. :(

Even I do keep the wifi turned off when not in use, but then I guess it's because of the unwanted wakelocks that keeps the battery down... :(

I don't have access to other wi-fi networks here :( But I am very much sure that there is no issues as such because I set up the home router myselves and tweaked it for maximum performance that doesn't involve with anything that had affect the router in a bad way... It's a Linksys Dual band...

I forgot to mention, even though it is the LTE version, I haven't put a SIM in the device and I don't think I had use the SIM in there any time soon.... I always prefer it to use over WIFI. Is it better to have a SIM in the device?
