    Flashing LG signed Firmware

.Cab files are more for unbricking then trying to just go back to stock. Please use the nandroid method in the other forum you are posting to as you run less chance of bricking your phone.

    computer not finding SD card

Stick your phone in charge only mode. It will then show up as a USB drive. The drivers for the rest of the phone are in there. That or use this file that is straight from the phone. http://androidfiles.massivefilehost.com/drivers/LG_VZW_United_WHQL_v2.3.1.msi

    Help Please

There is one instance where that does not work, and that is if the /misc partition has a flag set to look for an update file, which is where I believe he is at the moment. He'll need a custom .tot file with CWM built into it and then he would need to apply the boot loop fix. The risk with that...

Will ICS suck on the spectrum?

I can tell you that running the stock ICS leak was blazing fast compared to stock GB. I don't know if I'd called it faster then some of the modded GB roms that are out thou. I assume that they will get it even faster for the final version, but only time will tell.

CWM Touch Recovery - Ported from Koush's Offical Nitro Recovery

Re: CWM Touch Recovery - Ported from Koush's Offical Nitro Recove The blank screen is caused by the thermal sensor. Your phone actually has to cool off, not just be off. Also, you should probably re-flash the .img file onto your phone as it may not have fully gone thru. That is the best info...

    Please Help With Bricked Phone!

Yes. The CWM recovery is correct, but the stock image is not. Another person redid the package, but most people still use the files on their computer.

    Please Help With Bricked Phone!

" In order to return it, I needed to get it back to stock, so I attempted to do so by using the allinone pack. Needless to say I did not do it right and now I cannot get past the CWM-based recovery screen." The original all in one package does not actually have the original recovery image in...

    Spectrum ICS Leak

There is root, but it's under lock and key until ICS is officially released. I don't even have a copy of the exploit myself as I don't want it being public yet. I'd rather wait it out so that it doesn't get patched before ICS is really here. Best thing I could suggest is trying to use root...

    LG spectrum rooting / unrooting

At this point, no. I have not found a way to access NV directly. I do how ever, recommend making a DD image of every partition and storing it some where safe if you do decide to tinker. As we found out with the ICS leak, files like the radio are hidden on partitions not backed up by nandroid...

    LG spectrum rooting / unrooting

They are referring to soft bricks. It's very easy to remove a file that seems innocent, but will throw you into a boot loop. So far, the only way to true hard brick your phone is to mess up partition 7 on the phone. As long as that partition is still in one piece, download mode is accessible...

    Spectrum ICS Leak

Here's my two cents on the matter. I did the flash, I succeeded in getting into ICS and keeping my IMEI, and even then, it borked my radio. I had no access to google market in ICS. I had to restore image files (that I made way back when) to almost every partition on the phone in order to get 4G...

    Update Problems

You say non-essential, but the system update says "why is it not there". Remember, manufactures build updates for stock phones, not rooted/modified phones. As for TB, I mean Titanium Backup. It seems to be the most common app for backing up and restoring of apps/data.
