I do not think it`s a Ggoogle Calendar bug and you shouldn't be worried about your events. Firstly, please be sure you have set to visible all calendars.

Can you tell me what calendar app do you use. If you use Samsung calendar you need to open settings and under event notification need configure the phone to vibrate. I hope that help you.

This app is very good. I've checked mine three times so far today 3.5 hrs. This app uses GPS all the time it is running in the background and it`s not good to my battery.
