Yes its possible if you wish to stream using PC, just use DroidCam for OBS. Let's you use your high resolution phone camera back/front camera feed without any UI just the feed which you can then use it in your streams.

Has anyone tried deleting the account and re-adding, has it solved the problem.......I read this suggestions on another post........i am weary of trying this out as I have lots of filters and primary senders set up.......?

I have had the same trouble and seems there is no "easy to understand" way. Here are a few steps though: Go to Desktop version: Settings >>> Create Filter >>> and Label them <<< No need to Skip Inbox or Mark as Reaad >>> Now grab you Handset >>> Open Gmail App Press the handsets Menu button...
