Is there a working camcorder for Cyanmobile on the LG Optimus V? Saw a post from someone who took camera.apk from Gingersnap. Just looking for something quicker. ------------

That's the first thing I tried when the flash failed. Received the same error. Just tried it again (after rebooting). Seemed to work. Strange. Bummer, would be nice if you had the time. I really miss CyanMobile on my Optimus V. My wife loves it :) ------------

If I were to send you an LG OPtimus Elite for testing, etc, would you be able to port the CyanMobile over to the LG Optimus Elite? CyanBread for the LG Optimus V is probably the best I've seen for that phone. Would like to see this ROM available for the Elite. ------------

I realize this post is a little old, however, you never know who might run across it via Google search :) Actually, there are several companies that can root a phone remotely: ROMWarez.com RootAndroid.com RootPros.com All of them are comparable and have solid experience in rooted all kinds...

Noticed the camera app works - until you try and do a video and then the camera app crashes and it takes a reboot to bring it back. I can get video to work with a downloaded camera app from Google Play (UCam). Just would like the stock camera app to work.

I have the WiFi Hotspot working with Barnacle so not a big deal. Would like to see the stock hotspot working eventually so I don't junk up my phone with duplicated apps.

Trying to use the portable hotspot and unable to get connected. My laptop sees the SSID, however, it never does acquire an IP. Downloaded Barnacle and was able to use it for a WiFi Hotspot. Is there something special to be done to use the native CyanMobile WiFi Hotspot?

I have flashed the CyanMobile for the LG Optimus V and would like know if it is it possible to disable the 'soft keys' (menu icon, home icon, search icon, etc) that are displayed below the dock icons? Any assistance would be appreciated.

What exactly does 'zeroing out' an MEID do for you? Is it a way to fix a phone with a bad ESN?

sammyz12 - Were you able to fix the bad ESN of the phone you purchased off of eBay? Did you confirm that it had a bad ESN before performing the procedure in the posted video?
