Just came back on to say that today's update (MAY 12 2021) for the phone fixed the issue! Downloaded the update, rebooted the phone and tested it right away as I had a feeling LG knew about the issue and was working on it. Worked right away. Thank you to everyone who tried to help. I appreciate it.
