My first phone since my Palm Pilot with a stylus. I know there’s a few tricks with the S pen and camera….any other cool ideas out there that are useful (or just plain fun)?

YES. My ANDROID phone won't sync past GOOGLE calendar appointments, but its clear as day on my iPad...........

Touch Calendar works for me. You can actually see appointments when using the month view.

Should be able to copy text. Click an hold on message, a menu shows on top. Click the 3 small boxes on the right side and its offered there.

Yes. It is gone with the update. You can pick up a widget from the apps for the weather channel. We did and its working well.

One of my favorite things is in this same menu, and that's "to notify me when an open network is available".....mine was unchecked which is great since I hated seeing that question mark all the time when it found a network on ICS.

Thanks for your help. I did just try that one and it won't sync past 30 days either. I don't know why this is happening and I can't be the only one that likes looking and searching for older appointments?

I'm speaking of the stock calendar and an app I use called Touch calendar. It will sync birthdays but other items on my gmail calendar will not. I have old items from years back which would sync with my Palm phone, my Blackberry, but for some reason, after these updates, it will only sync 30...

This happened with the last update. For some reason, it will only sync past items for 30 days. Yet my iPad will sync back for years!
