I opened the Nexus case to physically disconnect the battery during a failed OTA update on my wife's Nexus 7 tablet. After reconnecting and closing the case, things went w/o complaint until I changed DSL for Fiber. I saw improvement on my Nexus, but hers was much worse, often dropping the signal...
