    I went to storage BEFORE (b4) to clear the garbage. Don't know if it included cache, but that should not interfere with an incoming call screen. The vol up and HOME key doesn't do it either

    I can slide up if the incoming call screen is presented to me. However, it is not shown if the screen is open.

    it does not go into recovery with that trick. I clean things in settings under storage b4. beside the ring, the only other thing that happens is the 2 icons, back on right and all apps on left, light up.

    The incoming call screen comes up when screen is off. When screen is on I do not get incoming call screen, which is where the caller info is. I can still answer it with the home button, but nothing to swipe up

    it is a popup but not a menu. the caller id window with the answer button. It appears when the screen is off, but if the screen is on it does not appear. So I have no idea who is calling and all I can do is answer it with the home button.
