What does the phone look like with the back glass completely removed? It might not look bad at all, and you may not want to replace the broken glass if it might end up just breaking again.

I've seen a lot of concern over the back glass cover, from it's likelihood of damage, to it causing the phone itself to move around on smooth surfaces. Has anyone tried removing it? I agree with the OP. I think as an alternative we could just somehow remove the existing glass backing. I don't know how easy that would be or how that would look, however.

Can't really complain. Got my 16GB model in August and used it intensely until however long it took for the 32GB model to came out. I sure as hell wouldn't have waited an extra 2-3 months just to hold out for the 32GB version.
