When on the lock screen press the SD card notification and swipe all the way up. You then have to unlock the phone, but it takes you directly to the screen that lets you turn off this notification. I would put the path but now that I have done it, I don't remember. If I figure it out I will...

I am also experiencing this issue on the Galaxy S7 Edge through AT&T. Changing to 5 gHz on my home modem did resolve the issue there. However, what to do about everywhere else? Hopefully a solution is found (and it makes it to here).
