Just as another data point for you Chris, I didn't flash this, just removed existing browser.apk and browser.odex from phone and extracted/copied your .apk over. As previously mentioned, no problems.

Not sure which keyboard sounds you're referring to, but did you go to Language & keyboard, Swype, and uncheck Audio Feedback OR Language & keyboard, Android keyboard, and uncheck Sound on keypress?

Didn't see anything in updated kernel thread or FAQ so answer is likely "no", but has anyone located a non-voodoo kernel for EB01 that supports BLN? Since leaving DL09 (DL30, EB01), I haven't been able to find a non-voodoo kernel that is compatible. :'( Thanks in advance.

adryn - process worked great. Evaluating to see if any problems since I didn't wipe data/cache when flashing over DL30 (though I just wiped prior to DL09 to DL30 install 6 days ago). Things seem to be up and running nicely, though. Thanks for your hard work.

Great stuff...thanks Cory. Too bad search key routes through Bing unlike DL30. Really unfortunate and makes rooting a must once again. How about the stock browser?? Assume it's locked to Bing as well?

Considering flashing this ROM. Does adrynalyne's 12/30 kernel work with BLN to light up softkeys for a notification? I guess I can go to another kernel, but like to keep devs' files together. Second question if I don't go to this ROM, if I flashed the theme fix from OP in CWM over the stock ROM...

Shouldn't matter. I rooted post VZ DL09 OTA on my Mac using Cory's video and sticky thread. Terminal commands still worked. If you still can't get it to work, though, Bootcamp also works. I can root via Mac, but still need to boot into Windows to flash CWM/modem. Haven't seen any alternative to...

ok...messed with this for a few hours. DJ05/DL09 CWMR refused to work on stock OTA DL09, rooted phone (2E error on the update.zip). Installed previous CWMR (version with D101 kernel) and all worked fine, booted right into green CWM. Now that all was well, performed nandroid backup, then flashed...
