OnePlus 8 Event enough to make you switch?

I saw a couple people saying they had trouble with ATT on their Oneplus. I never had any issues with my OnePlus 5, Oneplus 7 Pro or OnePlus 7t Pro on ATT. That being said, I am holding on to my 7t Pro Until I can get another top tier phone without a whole or notch in the screen

    OnePlus 7T on Google Fi

I have a 7t Pro on Fi, and I had a 7Pro previously (It was stolen). I had a problem using the Fi App, but that has since been fixed. Other than that Fi has worked just fine and I have used it in 5 countries on those phones with no issues

OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, or wait 'til the One+ 9, coming from One+ 7?

I have yet to see anyone have any complaints about the pop up cam breaking

    Quick Charging Compatibility

The OnePlus 7 Pro series supports USB-PD up to 15W. So USB-C to C cables will work just fine and deliver almost max PD speed. The Warp Charger and cable that come with the phone will deliver double the power, 30W. The OnlePlus 7T Series is Fully Compatible with USB PD up to 18W. So USB-C to C...

    7T or S20

I would recommend the 7t. The S20 may be batter in some ways, but for me its not double the price better

No fingerprint reader and questionable battery life?

Battery Life will of course depend on your usage. For some people it will get you through a day. For me it didn't. The face unlock was a big deal breaker for me, as I use a lot of apps that require authentication and it worked on like 2. So I was often having to use a password manager or having...

Android 10 with Android Auto issue

I don't have an issue with the screen not working. Also of note I did not have this problem on Android 9, only after upgrading to 10

Android 10 with Android Auto issue

That is not the issue really. I have my lighting set to automatic. So, when its bright outside my deck is is daytime mode and when its dark outside my deck goes to night mode, as it should. The problem is, if I unplug my phone when my deck is in day mode, the phone stays in light mode instead...

    Switched from the S10+ to OP7T Pro 5G T-Mo

Yes, but it is also under built. They should scale together, with the network and capacity improving as more people move to is, and while you will not see increasing 4G Speeds, as the 5g network is built out you should at least see more consistent speeds at 4G

Is charging and using phone simultaneously bad?

Depends on the phone as well. OnePlus(and a few others) designed their charging system to leave more heat in the charger. Heat being the biggest issue, this alleviates a good chunk of the issue. So depending on the phone and how it is designed, it could go from a non issue to pretty bad for...

    Switched from the S10+ to OP7T Pro 5G T-Mo

i remembered incorrectly, it was 30$ per, not 35&, but here is a story about it https://www.trustedreviews.com/news/oneplus-7-waterproof-ip-rating-3714860

    Switched from the S10+ to OP7T Pro 5G T-Mo

This looks to be exactly the case. OnePlus released a video at the time dunking a 7 pro in a bucket of water, and pete lau said it would ad 35$ to each unit for the actual rating. Also a bunch of reviewers put the OP7 Pro in water for their reviews, and anecdotally, I dropped mine in a swimming...
