Found the fix: there is an icon at the bottom of the login page that I have to select which takes me to the login page where I put in the login data that was randomly generated. iPhone for some reason just connected without this step - anyways problem solved.

It says Connected, no internet. But my iphone is connected and working fine.

OMG I am such an *****! I was using the Google search app and not Chrome! I tried with Chrome and downloaded directly into my Gallery! Thanks so much for everyone's help. Now here is another dumb question: what is the Google search app for?

Re: Location of downloaded pics from internet So I tested again and it's downloading but I can only see it in file manager not in the Photos app. I'm using Chrome as browser.
