It's not an excuse. There's a really bad vulnerability out right now and they are working on patching it in full. Maybe you should apply to work for their QA team since you think you can do better.

Again, would you rather them release an update "on time" with a borked feature somewhere or would you rather them release it later with everything patched and all vulnerabilities patched? Pick your poison and stop complaining and live life. I've seen that on every Android device I've owned...

Bulletins were never intended to be synonymous with the actual updates. They were only generous enough to do so. There are still some critical security flaws that need to be addressed. Then y'all would be complaining about that.

Point to the articles and YouTube videos about it because I haven't seen a single one. There were several about the 6 but not the 7. My original supposition still stands which means turn to the mirror for the reason behind the FPS problems.

If there were inherent issues with the fingerprint sensor there would be articles about it wouldn't you think? So, since there isn't....

I don't know why people are having problems with it. I've never had issues on my 7 Pro or even the 6 Pro. Both have been solid. There's must be some form of user error involved.

Probably not a bad thing that there's a bit more space between icons so you aren't pressing on the wrong thing.

It's the way you said it. Maybe if you didn't have everything set so large it wouldn't show up that way. I don't have mine setup like that

Again, just because that's the way they've been happening doesn't mean that's when it's supposed to happen.

That's just a bulletin, not the update. Bulletins convey information about things and in this case an update. They don't necessarily have to happen at the same time.
