I called again today and I got different info. I don't know what the other rep was talking about, but she was quoting some outrageous fees! I'm just glad I posted here before I renewed with AT&T!

I'll have to call again and double check tomorrow. She quoted some pretty high rates for going off Sprints network. Like I said, I was all set to switch, but I need to be sure I'm not going to pay an arm & a leg for my phone in VT.

No need to be rude. It's not free. Off Sprint's network you are charged. I varified this with a Sprint rep. Data, calls, and texts are subject to extra charges off Sprints network. Maybe roaming was the wrong word, I should have said going off network...

I called Amazon, and the refused to match the lower price.

How did you pay 49.99 through Amazon. I ordered from them and I paid 149. The website still says 149. I would love to save some $$$$

Just FYI, The price just went down for upgrades. It's $149 now vs 249 this morning. I ordered mine in white!
