As luck would have it, my charging port is loose. So, while I have a phone built in December, it is still defective! They are sending me a replacement I do like the phone, so I am hoping that the replacement is without any issues!

I'd say keep the phone. Google will not risk unhappy customers. They will either fix or replace the devices IMO along with some incentives
