Hell no. I think the notch is a horrible idea that needs to be stamped out now. What's so wrong with having the screen 4 or 5 millimetres shorter?

Pixel 2XL is probably the closest. Maybe a Huawei Mate 10 pro, but that only has a 1080p screen.

The Mate 9 is a well specified device, but I reckon the smaller screen might start to get on your nerves after a while. I certainly wouldn't go back to a five inch screen for my main phone. In the end, it's your decision and yours alone.

I think so. The battery is a weak point, but if yours has had as little use as you think, then it should be fine for a fair while. The black one has a problem with the anodised coating coming off the aluminium body, but I haven't heard any reports of this issue with the white one. I hope you enjoy.

I don't know the exact battery, but I expect it doesn't support rapid charging like the 6P does. The only result is that it might take longer to charge than the original battery. Using the 6P charger won't harm the phone or battery at all, as the charger will only deliver as much current as the...

Don't blame you Tony. I'll be doing the same as soon as my renewal date comes round. The 6P is a great phone, but the battery is just too much of a let-down.

FPS is fine for me, although I have noticed just about everything else has got much, much slower. Might go back to Nougat.

I'm still waiting for the OTA update. Is anyone else waiting too? I know it's available to install from a PC, but shouldn't I be getting it pushed? I'm using an unlocked 6P, so there's no proprietary crap to be added. I just don't get it!
