from what I've read, only the WiFi versions are capable of dl'ing the TW update. BestBuy only had that version a few weeks ago when I bought mine so I went to Verizon and bought the 4G version, which does not have the TW update, nor is it available even if you wanted it.

The desktop stand comes with an extra long cable so that's another option.

I'm in Miami and I am having battery issues. However, I spend my workday in an office that's so cold I have to wear a jacket sometimes.I go outside for smoke breaks to thaw out every other hour so it's a but of both extremes.Could such an extreme fluctuation be causing this?

I had the same prob with backup assistant earlier! called tech support and they had no clue how to fix it. I did a factory reset and tried it again and it worked like a charm!
