I don't love gboard but I have a hunch it may not be keyboard specific wince it was bad with both the default Samsung keyboard and SwiftKey. If it isn't some kind of software tweak, I fear it may be hard way and need to be replaced. Ugh.

I'm not the OP but all I can say is... Maybe your phone does. Mine has suffered significantly degraded battery life, and many apps don't work properly yet because they haven't caught up to the OS change. It hasn't been a total fail, but it also has not made my phone feel "like new" or snappy...

Noticeable drop in battery life since update to 6.1. Used to have 30-40% at the end of the day; now I need to charge at least once to top enough to make it. Very disappointing, as the initial battery life in my Tmo 23+ was outstanding.
