Thanks for the advice. Some of the glitches are calming down but as everyone else has complained about also, is that the call screen dims down and goes black while on a call. This is actually dangerous and is a safety issue!

Thanks Scott! I found that 2 apps produced sound in spite of this fix and I turned off the sound in the app itself. ( I think!) Hopefully that will stop it. I wear a bluetooth hearing aid neckloop for phone calls and when those notification noises come through, they zoom loudly thru my hearing...

Hi , thanks to you both in this reply. Are you meaning a factory reset where I have to back up everything? No. I have many folders I have curated over a year and cant face manually doing that. I did take out the battery, restarted it, cleaned a cache. Right now as I type and hit the backspace...
