I have recently updated my home wifi router and connecting my Note 5 to 5GHZ band. I can see a lot of improvement now. It drains around 1% / hr. Earlier it is around 5%/hr.

Re: Note 5 Wifi automatically connecting even though options are turned off To enable Smart Switch you have to turn on Mobile networks/4G and wifi both. Then only you will be able to see this option

My experience with 2 Note 5's i have i do have same issue if we leave it over wifi. I have no apps installed. Even not Linked my gmail account. But it still drains 30% overnight. It is giving very good life if i am 4G with almost all the apps i user and in Sync, Gmail, Yahoo, Whatsapp, Viber...

Yes i Have tried yesterday and got a chance to speak with Supervisor, She insist on sending phone to Device Support Center for further investigation. I requested them to test on the phones what they have. I was told they will no have any devices for testing. I even opened a thread in ATT forums.

Yeh tried that option as well. Advised to send phone to their Device Support center for Replacement with Certified Phone / verification of settings.

I reached ATT Technical Support about this issue. But they dont care about creating a ticket simply looks at Battery performance says we dont see any unusual battery drain. This is working as expected. They are not even listing when i explain then with On 4G with same usage it is giving better...
