Nick7 - thank you so much - this is absolutely beautiful! Exactly what I was hoping for. Clean, lean and a blank slate from which to customize to meet my specific needs! Your efforts are much appreciated.

Try Nick7's Shell ROM it is meant to be as close to stock 2.2.2 as it can get - might be what you are looking for

Anyway to get this launcher on our phones?

Hmmm - is it important that he manufacture get changed from LGE to Sony Erricson? My wife had an X10 for a while - she hatted Time Scape - resource hog for sure. How does it perform on the Optimus S?

I couldn't agree more - thanks Nick7 (and KSmithInNY and everyone else) for all you do for the Optimus S community. I went out of my way to get my wife and I these phones - my wife loves the Sprint ID stuff - me I want simple easy to use and out of the way. What I hated about my iPhone was the...

Here are my thoughts. I would want a ROM that has the Android experience the way it was meant to by Google. So just the basics. Phone, Browser, Messaging, Calendar, Contacts, Dialer, Launcher, browser, market. Everything stock Froyo (theme, launcher, etc.). And since our phones are rooted -...

Somehow I thought this would be in the works; I may look into ROM cooking for laughs anyways. Thanks so much!

    Vanilla Frozen yogurt

I was dreaming when I wrote this, forgive me if I go astray... Is there a vanilla froyo ROM out there anywhere - I mean just the absolute minimum stuff required to run the phone (connect to Sprint for voice/data; make calls; send messages; gmail; browser)? I am just curious as I am a...

Nope - no lingering voice mail on sprints system; I get a notification of a voicemail everytime I reboot the phone or plug in my USB or get any system notification. It is rather annoying. I will try to flash the 4/27 ROM today and see if it still happens. BTW - what does flashing the GAPPS...

Thanks - I am not on twitter so that is probably why I missed it. On another note - did anyone ever figure out how to get the system to stop telling me I had a voice mail every time I boot or something else happens?

I am confused - where did you get a 4/27 build? Am I missing something?

I apologize if I missed this: but how do you stop the phone from sending voice mail notifications when you have no new voice mail? BTW: 4/3 ROM and 4/3 OV-Sprint and messaging app is still there! Looking forward to using the ROM for the rest of the week!

This may be a really dumb questions so please feel free to say so. Does the use of the WiFi Hotspot App in this ROM require you to have the $29.99 a month mobile hotspot service from Sprint?

    ARCHIVED: [ROM] Reborn ROM v2.2.4 - 7/24/11

I used this ROM all weekend long (once I fixed my over clocking issue) and did not charge from Friday Night to Sunday afternoon - 34% battery left - that is heavy phone calls and lots of Words With Friends games. Thank you so much, it runs better and has less crap than stock ROM. Is there a...
