Google tells me I have 2 viruses that are killing my battery?

Re: google tells me I have 2 viruses that are killing my battery. Excellent advice. You may also want to switch to a different browser- one that detects malicious sites (chrome, and I think also Firefox can do this) plus switch to an antivirus (like Avast -free-) which also protects you from...

Why isn't my Tab charging up?

Could be lots of reasons. If the battery is empty, it (of course) won't detect USB or do anything else (including anything that indicates it's trying to power on.) Depending on how long you've had it, I think I'd start by replacing the battery. Rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries typically...

Why does my battery show 100% when it's not?

You should only have to cycle it one time.

Yes, Samsung have been saying it's pending for almost a year. Useless.

I am still on 4.4.2! This is highly disappointing!

Why can't my G-Tab 4 connect to wifi?

Re: G-Tab 4 can't connect to wifi I'll assume you've done the easy stuff like making sure you aren't in airplane mode, that you have wifi enabled on the notifications screen, and have a valid login for your wifi network. If so, it sounds like somehow wifi has become broken on your tab...

When playing Words With Friends, the screen enlarges, how do I make it stop?

The game app does that... annoying, isn't it...? All you can do is pinch the screen to shrink it back. (use a finger and thumb placed on the screen at roughly diagonal corners and pull them together.)

    Lollipop 5.0.2

The tremendous lag made it effectively unusable, but the battery drain even during charging is what I suspect triggered the replacement. What I learned is not necessarily to jump at Android upgrades...

    Lollipop 5.0.2

I've been running Avast since I got my 2012 Nexus 7, and never have had any issues that I thought were caused by Avast. See my post just above yours... Avast before 5.0.2, during, and on the replacement tablet. One thing I can suggest in general though, is to wipe the partition cache if/when...

    Lollipop 5.0.2

Not long after I posted this, my Nexus 7 -2012 was updated OTA to 5.0.2 (it skipped 5 and 5.0.1) It became totally unusable almost immediately. Tremendous lag, and tremendous battery drain (it drained quickly during use, and even drained slowly during charging!!) Google support had me try a...

Anybody else still not have Lollipop on the Wifi-Only version?

5.0.2, yes. I have heard the OTAs for 5.0 and 5.0.1 are suspended for Nexus 7 2012. (I've also heard 5.0.1 was never released to Nexus 7 2012...)
