Polarization seems to depend on the screen maker (tianma or Sharp) although you couldn't tell which one is unless you turn on the phone and look at the screen with polarized glasses. If it's a Sharp screen unit, you'll see the screen ok in portrait. If it's tianma, you'll see it ok in landscape

I used cloudmagic until they got greedy. Now I'm using Boxer, really good app clean and powerful. I like it even better than cloudmagic.

I own 6s plus and switched to HTC 10, the 10 is at least 20% louder, more accurate sound. Its in another league I think.

You are right, it seems to Sound only in the bottom speaker, but it sounds pretty loud if you let it (tested with polichrome ringtone) . It also sounds loud from the beginning if you uncheck that option. Notice that there is a separate alarm volume in the same menu, maybe you have that one too...

The alarms starts with low volume but it increases if you don't dismiss it. You can configure this in the alarms tab, upper right corner: 3 dots, configuration. Options are volume, increases, etc.

I have it for 3 days now, its amazing. Home sweet home since day one.

Three months later still no updates. I've chatted with HTC and they tell me I have the latest version, still waiting but sincerely I could not recommend this brand to whomever wants fasts updates, and I've spend 700usd for that to no avail.

Well, you could try Tasker, it's an excellent app if you get to learn how to use it

Nothing here in Argentina yet. Two weeks ago @htc answering my question, told me to wait 2 weeks and if I didn't receive the update contact support here...

Yes, I had noticed that but if you go to http://www.htcdev.com/devcenter/downloads And choose one m8, HTC, wwe, that's the version the page shows. I will wait two more weeks and contact HTC support if I hadn't the update by then. Let's hope for the best :p Sent from my HTC One_M8 using AC...
