Just an update. I don't think it's samsung cloud sync as when I clicked on it, it's still giving me it's start-up(?) screen meaning I haven't even configured and used it.

Good day, it's me who asked the question. Had to register to be able to reply. I've already disabled the google photos sync. I'll look into the samsung cloud sync. Wasn't even aware there's such a thing. I cannot tell how much is being uploaded since I can't really monitor it since it began...
