It will not harm it at all. Its a recommended wireless charger by this community for all phones that use the Qi standard.

I have the newest Samsung convertible fast charging pad. I can confirm it reduces the rate at which it charges to a slower spees. Will not charge fast. Takes almost two hours from about ten to fifteen percent to fully charged.

South Korean models got an update today. They are going roll it out to everyone eventually.
