It began to rip on the side at the bottom of the watch.

OK, wanted to report back. They replaced the strap for $45. It seems to be fine, although I had to reset the watch a few times to get the new Wear OS to "take" but it seems to be fine. It took about 2 weeks which seemed long, but of course, I have no idea how many people are making repairs, etc.

So my watch sport and phone (V30) go together fine. Because I'm pissed that LG won't cover the strap its a fine time to review my options. Which Samsung watch would be the best replacement? I like the fitness use, listening to music, the ability to pay and occasional phone calls, as well as...

Friends, I have the watch sport but, as stated earlier, the strap is about to break. LG pissed me off saying that the strap isn't covered, only the watch. Of course you know that the strap contains the antenna for the watch. So.....should I look at the Samsung family? Which one? Or just give in...

So now I'm looking for a cool lockscreen thingy for my v30. Thoughts?

I can't reconnect with the watch after a hard phone reset. All software updated on both ends; restarted both. Bluetooth on and paired with other devices.

Am I wrong or can I not schedule texts in Signal?

More on the ad ware. The ad ware is from Brave Blocker and Kroger and its sneaky. When you restart the phone in safe mode it disappears once you restart for a few minutes and then reappears. I don't have a Kroger app on the phone and I'll be damned if I'll buy an ad blocker that is ad ware.

Is the only way to stop the ads now with a fresh reset of the phone? Last two months new adware showed up. Thought I had rid myself but nope, almost every time I get to the lock screen there's a Kroger ad. Any thoughts?
