It's what's going on in the browser being isolated from the rest of the system, it's normal.

I tried running Chrome for a while with just one tab open and it didn't seem to make a difference, but I wasn't paying attention to what was in each tab so couldn't say for sure. I'll re-enable Chrome and do some experimenting.

I'm pretty sure all the sense 3 stuff for the inspire is DHD or Pyramid based. That being said, there are several good rom's that have been modded to work properly with the inspire.
