    You're on the right track. Downgrade to 10b and root using stump. Then install a bumped twrp custom recovery for your device. Then use twrp to flash a rooted 47a Rom.

    Easiest way is to use Titanium Backup Root. Once you open the app and it populates the list of apps on the phone click super user and advanced options and it'll give you the option to make it a systems app. Posted via the Android Central App
