Just thought I'd post an update. I've yet to have this happen again once I soft reset my phone (by holding power and volume down) and unless you are getting this bug often, I don't see it as a problem to worry about as it looks to have sorted itself out :)

You guys who are getting 7+ hours of onscreen time, what is your screen brightness set to? I have mine to auto and 4 hours is usually the max i get (which is still pretty good). Could you post your battery usage by apps? Thanks!

I use an app called screen off and lock coupled with nova pro gestures. Just set a gesture to the app and boom. Double tap to wake double tap to turn off. I never have to touch my power button.

I too had a evo 4g lte as my last phone. It was a great phone but the m8 is a huge step up in every meaningful way. If you liked your evo 4g lte you will love the m8. I honestly love the camera it takes very quick pictures with very little blur.

If you want to call best buy mobile directly: 1. Call your local store's phone number. 2. Press '8' during the automated menu. 3. Enter 2270# for the mobile extension. If this doesn't work try 2271 but the above steps work great in all of the ones i've tried :)
