    Is there any word when that's going to happen? That's the only reason why I will root is 3rd party apps.

    AC Sideload Wonder Machine for Windows

    Worked for me on an AT&T HTC inspire. I did have to install the HTC Inspire Sync crap to make it work due to their USB drivers being proprietary. Just make Sure you close the app and kill it from the system tray before you run this or it fails.
