I still miss iTunes. I have a somewhat flexible shell script I wrote to sync all of my music. And while it was fun to write, I think iTunes is just easier. Plus it also does backup. I think things will change soon with Android. The backup service is already there, so apps will start to use...

That really sucks. Amazing that a headphone jack would do it. I watched that video today where they took a machine screw to it with no scratches. Wish I knew about the warranty. I'd check the docs that came with the phone.

It is different. The Gmail app is there in the app list. There are instructions on changing it in this forum.

I was having some bluetooth issues with my Captivate, but they seemed to have stopped. I think my Mac was interfering, trying to pair with my headset all the time. I've turned off one of the settings, and it seems to have fixed things (after only 1 day though, so not 100% sure).

I've been trying it out. I definitely don't have the gesture down for the automatic activation. :) But the app is cool. Is it better than just using the search bar? No. ;)

Very interesting. I don't think my phone is doing that ... but I'm not sure. I'll have to test that.

Kind of funky but when I open Advanced Task Killer, the FB app shows up as the full upper case alphabet. :)

I say, if you want an N1 then go for it. Do what makes you happy. But I will add ... I don't really understand why someone would give up a phone because it's lighter than another. Maybe strap some weights inside the battery compartment? Or buy the bodyglove case, which is heavy. I love that...

I'm not a former BB user, so that alone may account for the difference in my opinion, but I love the email on the Captivate. I also use Gmail, so maybe that's why. What were you missing on the Captivate that a BB gives you? I'd like to know what I'm missing. :cool:

You're talking about the Gmail client? I have to say, it still doesn't appear to work, no matter how long I press and hold.

So is the only difference between the Pro and the Plus version the widgets?

That does suck. Mine actually works great. I've used turn-by-turn nav a few times, maps, etc. and it locks on without a problem.
