Re: unsure about display resolution I'm rather sure now that the screen resolution is 540x960. The same Android Device Monitor shows in the LogCat window apps trying to create big OpenGL surfaces, failing and then going for the lower resolution ones, until they have success at... 540x960...

Re: unsure about display resolution Your phone is a Lenovo a916, not a916c. Not exactly the same model. I evaluated both before buying mine and decided for the a916c because the seller specs said it had a higher resolution... :(
