Replacement phone on its way hopefully with out the same issues many thank for the help.

Ok after factory reset the Samsung splash is still randomly coming on and while it is on the phone is unusable and any call or other activity is ended as soon as the splash screen comes on, getting very annoying. Any more ideas on what might clear this bugs ?

Thanks Andrew for letting me know about doing the factory reset, reset the phone last night so will give it a few days and see how it goes, will report back on the out come.

Have never done a factory reset before so how do I go about it and does it mean I'll have to reinstall, config the phone afterwards?

Received the 5.1.1 update yesterday and now have a couple of bad bugs. 1. The phone keeps randomly dropping GSM network connection. 2. The Samsung splash screen keeps randomly popping up. 3. When connected to my PC with a USB cable it keeps loosing the connection. 4. While all this connection...
