    Nexus 6 5.1.1 LMY47Z Update 4/27

Which 5.1 build were you on when you got the OTA notification? Were you on the official LMY47E Verizon build, or a different one?

    Who handles my update?

AT&T shows it as a Motorola MX12405445 because that's how the device appears in the official international IMEI database. Even though any US Nexus 6 is an XT1103, Motorola still has to have a way to classify them internally. XP12357045 are devices whose IMEI numbers follow normal GSM...

Any other apps besides LTE Discovery to view which LTE band I'm on?

I did a little more digging and it actually appears to be a radio issue. Here's what's weird. On every radio except the current one, the network identifies properly as "Verizon Wireless" and LTE Discovery shows the band I'm connected to, but still shows the SNR as "N/A." However, on the latest...

Any other apps besides LTE Discovery to view which LTE band I'm on?

Hi Spence, There appears to be issues with the Nexus 7 LTE (2013), or at least when there's a Verizon SIM in it. It shows LTE signal strength properly but doesn't show the band and the SNR just says "N/A." Obviously the Nexus 7 is a bit unique when it comes to Verizon since it has no CDMA...

    Sprint galaxy S4 software update

Does anyone know what CSB and RP signify in the OTA filename? Specifically I'm curious if CSB or RP are device specific abbreviations or if other OTA files for other GS4 devices would have that as well.

soak test emails just went out

As an update, it looks like the Verizon Xoom will be getting 4.1.2 and the build is JZO54L. According to the most recent AOSP tags, JZO54L is android-4.1.2_r2. According to changelogs, there really isn't much different between JZO54K and JZO54L outside of a few Xoom-specific changes made by...

soak test emails just went out

I'm anxiously awaiting someone participating in the soak test to pull the OTA URL from logcat so we can update. This has been a long time coming. Ice Cream Sandwich runs OK, but after using the stock Jelly Bean ROM on a WiFi Xoom, it's as if Jelly Bean almost turned the Xoom into a new device...

Calling All 3G CDMA Xoom Owners

I'm all set now. Someone on another forum was able to pull the link from his OTA notification.

Calling All 3G CDMA Xoom Owners

Hi everyone, Do any of you 3G CDMA Xoom owners have a direct link to the 3.2.1/HTK75D -> 4.0.4/IMM76L OTA file? Obviously the OTA link for the 4G Xoom is all over the Internet now, but I can't seem to find a direct link to the 3G file. I don't actually own a 3G Xoom or I'd figure it out...

I Got ICS On Verizon Xoom

Did you happen to get the link to the OTA file? If you have a 3G Xoom, that means you were upgrading from 3.2.1/HTK75D to 4.0.4/IMM76L...we still don't have a direct link to that file.

I Got ICS On Verizon Xoom

Everyone, As of today, the OTA file for 3.2.1/HTK75D -> 4.0.4/IMM76L is pushing out. This is the update for the 3G CDMA-only Xoom. If anyone has the link to that file and could post it here, I would greatly appreciate it. I'd like to update the firmware repository at randomphantasmagoria.com...

I Got ICS On Verizon Xoom

That's because it doesn't exist. This was a major marketing faux pas on Verizon's part. The stock ICS tablet interface (which is obviously what we see on the Xoom since it's a Google Experience Device) does not include any launch bar functionality whatsoever. The launch bar is only part of the...
