    Nexus 6P and Straight Talk?

Been using a 6p on straight talk at&t service and it's been great. Zero complaints

    Audio Quality

The thing is, they aren't using the same hardware. Yes the HTC 10 is using a separate amp which gives it the huge power advantage in headroom. The implementation of the DAC is also key, you can have a great dac with crappy implementation. HTC 10 nailed it. Output impedance on the pixel is much...

This doesn't bode well for the radios in the new Pixel phones Or does it?

Re: This doesn't bode well for the radios in the new Nexus phones Or does it? Well ATT didn't sell the htc 10 at all and T-Mobile stopped selling it after 2 months.

Can the battery life of the oneplus 3 be compared to that of the iphone 6s plus?

I have a Oneplus 3 and a 6s and they are essentially the same regards to battery life, both get me about 5 hours SOT. I imagine the 6s plus would net me something like 9 hours SOT with my usage. So no, not close

Any gone from iPhone to 5X?

I have a 6s that I used side by side with a 5x. The 5x didn't stand much of a chance, the build quality, performance and battery life seemed worlds apart. Maybe iPhone 6 to 5x would be somewhat closer and you won't regret it but I don't think so. 5x is a midrange mediocre phone, id be much...

Are you buying the Galaxy Note7?

Not buying the note 7, my Oneplus 3 is as close to my perfect device as it gets and it's less than half the price! If I did want to go the Samsung route the S7 or S7 edge seems like a better buy. I think Samsung dropped the ball on the note 7, most note users are used to bigger devices so...

Fellow owners of the 6P, especially, but open to all: What, in your opinions, would warrant an upgra

Happy with the iPhone 6s and Oneplus 3 but for me to be interested in the next nexus device it needs (relative to nexus 6p): -A much better dac/amp, as a bit of an audiophile the nexus 6p sounds like garbage -way smaller bezels, unfortunately htc has never shyed away from large bezels so this...

    iPhone 6s to Oneplus 3

Yep standby time on the 6s is nuts, and I only stream music and browse too and that seems to do ok with battery. Actually, streaming podcasts and music seems to affect battery more than the screen being on, 750p resolution has its benefits but so does 1080p on the OP3. I use my iPad charger on...

    iPhone 6s to Oneplus 3

I was a nexus 5 user as well, still my favorite phone ever...well it was, not anymore it's been replaced by the Oneplus.I currently have a 6s as pretty much a daily driver but I've had the Oneplus 3 as well side by side and the end result is that my 6s is now on swappa for sale. My Nexus 6 is...

How good is the Oneplus 3's battery life?

This the best android phone that I've used in terms of battery life. I'm a fairly heavy user but I do turn off Bluetooth and location unless I need them which isn't often, keep this in mind. But I offset that by going ham on snapchat, tons of browsing and and email, Twitter, YouTube, Netflix...

Display criticism sends OnePlus CEO on a rant

I agree, the 5x is some serious trash. The OG Nexus 5 is a better phone. The One Plus 3 is such a powerhouse, my nexus 6 feels like a 1st gen Moto g in comparison performance wise :(

Display criticism sends OnePlus CEO on a rant

The One Plus 3 a mid ranger? Lol come on man this thing is absurdly good. Battery life is nuts so far and it simply does not even get warm no matter what you throw at it, 1080p was an excellent choice IMO. Screen looks great. Nope not as sharp at my LG V10 or nexus 6 and about equal to my iPhone...

Not liking the Nexus 5X because of lag

I haven't been keeping tabs on the 5x but everything I read seems to indicate some performance issues. Has anyone gotten to the bottom of what's causing this? The lg G4 and v10 are blazing fast and that's with a higher res screen and a heavy ui overlay. Stock android + 1080p + 808 processor...

Verizon S7E on StraightTalk works perfect, BUT

Verizon does that to everyone who wants to use their towers, pageplus is another prepaid service that uses Verizon and they too are throttled to 5 Mbps. Thankfully I'm in a good ATT area so buying unlocked GSM phones and activating them on straight talk or cricket works out nicely.

Verizon S7E on StraightTalk works perfect, BUT

Yes Verizon LTE speed is capped at 5 for straight talk. ATT and T Mobile towers on straight talk are uncapped, I get about 20+ Mbps using the att straight talk SIM card.
