I find this interesting because one of my friends is Korean and I've had conversations about this with him before and he happens to agree with much of what jrsharp70 has said. I think in certain industries jrsharp70 does have a very strong point. I don't think it's fair to call him xenophobic...

So basically what i gather from this thread is that 3 months is an eternity and rumored specs equals fact.

That's only fair given that people are currently beta testing the most recent iterations of touchwiz and sense. :)

Is that they adhere to Google's standard button layout instead of taking HTC and Samsung's approach to it. While some may view this as petty, the buttons are the most repeatedly used thing on your phone because they're what you use to navigate around the UI every day, and the aforementioned 2...

this seems to be the general consensus way to fix it. I think people's main beef is that they have to do this at all. Hopefully all it will take is an update from Samsung to teak the animations so disabling them isn't required at all.

I'm sure many of you remember the rumor flying around last year that Google planned to launch multiple Nexus phones from various OEM's in 2013. That rumor seems to have fizzled out, but as we've seen recently, what the OEM's are actually doing is making Google Edition models of their flagships...

This means no, it's not a Nexus phone. I chose to interpret this to mean that there will be an initial Moto X released on carriers this summer, and then "later this year" they'll release a Google Edition.
