M8 has more wasted space than M7?
But I'm more interested for the reason why they did this since the old way would offer more space on the screen and looks better imo.- ondroid

M8 has more wasted space than M7?
on M7 there are two buttons on each side of the HTC log, but on the M8 those buttons are above the HTC logo. To me it looks like they wasted space on the M8? Planning to buy HTC One M7 or HTC One Mini 2 (or Nexus 5).- ondroid
