I had issues upgrading through Kies. It crashed on me bigtime and locked up the phone in the upgrade mode. I called Samsung and they said remove dl cable, remove battery, replace battery, hold down Volume Up/Down and Power at same time then plug in dl cable. Didn't look like it was doing...
