Finally received the email from Google for my GH Mini this morning.

My approximately two week old Pixel 2 XL just started having this issue last night for the first time, and it's intermittent. I did notice that when I turned off Ambient Display (Settings/Display/Advanced/Ambient Display/Always ON set to OFF), that fixed it and I haven't seen the flash. IMHO...

I ordered my Pixel 2 XL on 10/10, shipped on 10/27, delivered on 10/31, but haven't received the email on the free GH Mini yet.

My Pixel 2 XL (64 GB, just Black) which was ordered on October 10 shipped yesterday (October 27th) albeit a day late from the original shipping date (October 26th). I went with the free shipping option and thought it would be ground shipping but apparently Google shipped it out by FedEx 2-Day.

I've been getting the reminders on my phone to upgrade to Nougat (7.0) on my 6P but after reading all these posts about decreasing battery life, I'm hesitant to. Does battery life actually decreases overall, by consensus?
